Put on my shoes
Walk around for a bit
See how it feels
To have your psyche take a hit
No one can know
Can anyone feel?
What it's like to be me
In this life so surreal
I stand in a fog
What's real? What's fake?
I take a step forward
Did I make a mistake?
I simply can't resolve
The mess in my head
"What's wrong with that girl?"
The doctors all said
I can't do it alone
I need you with me
Please open my eyes
Help me to see
Life seems so hopeless
With troubles galore
Should I simply quit?
Or stick around for more?
