Such forbidden love, my guardian angel And as fate dangles you before me I know deep in my heart That such fruits may never be tasted
Such nectar is a tease for this fallen angel Will our paths ever cross? Or each night must I toss and turn At the thought of never holding you?
We are worlds apart, my prince of light And you were never meant to fall for a mere mortal Though would you, if you could, Steal me away from my world and into your wings?
Fate may be cruel, my guardian angel But my fragile heart does pray That one day well be together in the heavens above And wrapped in your wings I can stay.
