Etched in Stained Glass

Contributed by lesoleilnoire on Sunday, 14th June 2009 @ 08:52:00 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Our love is embedded in the fragile strong beauty of stained glass;
The prismic beauty creates an array of colors shining on our lives.
The light casts a red reflection on a day depicting the passion of hearts beating fast;
The mosiac patterns transform to a blue on a day in which our feelings have undergone strife.
Yellow colors are bent angling positive energy our love for one one another creates;
The colors metamorphize into a calming blend of indigo expressing the comfort of a soul's hug.
Viewing stained glass is a breath-taking experience as is looking at a true love on a date;
A magical trance overcomes the onlooker as one sedated by love's bug.
The fragility of this colorful glass is as fragile as love;
Stained glass can shatter as suddenly as a broken heart shattering into a tempered soul.
Both are arts that must be treated like gifts from the heavens above.
Our love is etched in stained glass;
Both arts connect us to the past.

Oh how I enjoyed this colorful, and very feeling poem. I've observed stained glass many times, but whenever I do from now on, it will be because I read your lovely poem, and will observe it more carefully and with love in mind.
Thank you for sharing........
Warm love
