Best friend you are my everything
When i have nothing at all
You are my bridge over troubled waters
Protecting me from the fall
Best friend you are the tissue
That wipes my tears away
You are the life in me
That keeps me living from day to day
Best friend you are my strength
At times that i fall weak
You are my voice
Helping me to speak
Best friend you are my smile
When blue skies turn gray
You are the path through my hardships
Allowing me to find the way
Best friend you are my laughter
That eases away the pain
You are my sunshine
When cloudy skies bring rain
Best friend you are my shield
When danger is near
You are the bravery inside me
That overcomes my fear
Best friend you are my happiness
Chasing away dreary days
You are the way around the dead end
Throughout every maze
Best friend you are my heart
That's how much you mean to me
Without you i am nothing
What else could i be?
