I gaze into the fire that was once burning and notice only a lonely ember glowing; This ember is a reminder of what is happening to us. Our relationship is becoming like a pair of worn jeans which have no point in sewing; I quickly stir the ember around to keep it alive as I must.
The ember hypnotizes me into a time of the past; I can remember how much fire and strength our connection once had. Just one kiss would make my heart beat fast; To lie in your arms would cure me when I was sad
I come out of the trance and see the ember is fading fast; I rush to find something to feed its flaming needs. Then a thought overcomes me to let the ember become a thing of the past; Should I do this last ember a good deed?

well written and expressed. those memories are sumtimes all we hav, and seemingly impossible to erase. just let ur last ember take care of itself, and it will burn out by itself, only if u want to. again great job.
