Once I knew what I wanted from life
Living without anger and without strife
Things got stressful as life became unkind
A peaceful way of life I tried to find
My thoughts once pleasant and full of love
Filled with temptation I tried to rise above
Seeking shelter in Your loving grace
In Your eternal family, I'll take my place
Gaining knowledge in Your written word
When what You taught I finally heard
