Nothing left to say

Have you told me where you've been?
Cause I don't remember
I see the smoke in her car
And you sitting next to her
I see your bloodshot eyes
Your apathetic lives
Photographs online
Showing your waste of time
Have you told me how you got here?
Cause I don't know now
I see the empty eyes
Living out this lie
I see you fade away
Why didn't you stay?
By the end of the day
There's nothing left to say
Have you told me all your lies?
Cause I didn't listen
I know you took that pill
Now your live stands still
I see the distance grow
How did you get so low
Now I don't want to know
I'll just sit back and enjoy the show

What a very sad, and hopeless poem indeed!
I lost two children to drugs, go to "Stories" by me and see..........I, like you stood still, hoping, praying, and never knowing. It was a relief to me when they both left. Atleast then, I didn't have to sit around and see..........them slowly dying.
This was a well rounded poem, and very well written. I could feel your feelings, for I've lived them too. I'm so sorry for you...... But remember there is only one person you can save........and that person is you. Don't let this get you down too!
Warm love

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
