I may dream of her but I am talking to you
she may be strikingly beautiful
but all those words Ive said to you are truthful
and you did what you felt like you had to do
You threw me away with no excuse
for two weeks, i let myself be used
and dealt with it a year without you
so forgive me if you arent the one i choose
I may say goodnight to her, but you star in my dreaming
when i saw you, i thought my eyes were deceiving
youre image was like a beautiful spring evening
fresh air and i felt like i could finally breath in
with your thought, i wrote my best songs
I just wish you didnt have to already be gone
if only you could stay just a little more long
youre perfect, too bad i didnt get time to be proven wrong
when it comes to you two, both i adore
but there is a given, that i love more
one of you may have my heart but she has the core
like a nonphysical paramour
like something out of Shakespearian lore
Loving her is such a daunting chore
but once i close my eyes, she is the fore
i may love one of you but i love my dear sister more.
