I wandered through a grand estate Where witches settled Maxwell's fate Where through the River Cart runs straight And everywhere is beauty.
I'd often stop and sit a while To watch the ragged red haired kyle And share with them the city's smile And marvel at their beauty.
From Autumns gold to Winters white From early morn till late at night There never was so sweet a sight There never was such beauty.
And locked inside my heart I hold A thousand stories yet untold Of this proud place in days of old Proud place in all her beauty.
