Lets be homeless for a night!

Contributed by htayyab on Wednesday, 8th July 2009 @ 03:05:12 AM in AEST
Topic: abstract

lets be homeless for a night,
just u and me,
when the whole worlds sleeping,
u and i are dreaming,
a hopeless dream

lets be crazy for a night,
roaming the streets of vancouver,
finding only darkness in sight,
nothing but the dark, no light,
lets be homeless for a night

when i walk these streets alone i wonder
if u ever think of me,
maybe u do,
thoughts of u and me,
just like I do, everyday and every night,
lets be fearless for a night

come to me and hold my hand,
tell me that u love me,
just like u used to do,
now there is nothing but the ghost of my past
reminding me there is nothing that shall last
lets be stars for a night

for they shall always shine
on the dark black sky
underneath which u and i
are dreaming the same dream
saying the same prayers
waiting to be homeless for a night

Incredible write, there is just something about walking the streets of Vancouver in the rain.

now there is nothing but the ghost of my past
reminding me there is nothing that shall last
lets be stars for a night
( really loved that, it fit with a dark rainy night)

Have a good day
Michelle
