A New Spiral Pad

Contributed by Bizzy on Saturday, 29th March 2003 @ 05:35:00 AM in AEST
Topic: MiscPoems

I wish I had a spiral pad
in which to write my thoughts.
My daily journal serves its purpose,
a record of my life's events,...
an interesting reference.
What I miss is space for feelings,...
musing of my personal philosophies,
and some pages for creative writings.
A jounal of events is a record of history.
A journal of my thoughts
is a record of my soul.
It... is who I am.
Although,
I've often written pages of such,
I've yet to gather all together
to make them something usable.
Continue, I must, to write my thoughts.
I need a nice new spiral pad
because I'm still living,
and changing,
and becoming the being
that I will finally be.

G.F.R. Coykendall, 1999-22003
