How ive longed to hold thee
And now that I can my heart feels free
I have long dreamed of kissing thy lips
and clasped in my hands are your finger tips
staring into your deep green eyes
my soul feels as if it will cry
how Ive wanted to hold you in my arms
and protect you from all the worlds harms
The stars shine ever so bright
As I stand here with you tonight
when you tutored me i made a promise
to protect you from all your fears
and to never see your eyes filled with sad tears
I have waited more than a year
but my patience has given me something sincere
I now know what to wish for when i look apon a star
I wish not to loose you again and have you drift so far
Let me give you a kiss on this stary night
and hold you in my arms forever so tight
