Just a touch

Contributed by Voice of the Silent on Friday, 10th July 2009 @ 05:29:15 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

I'm afraid to ever touch you
For I'll then cease to be if I do
you'll evaporate into dust
Blow away in the wind just because I couldn't avoid the lust

To touch to feel
Just to know if you're real
To heavy a price
But this lust has me in it's vice

Holding me tight
Crushing me and there's only one thing I can do
to make it stop and that's if I could just touch you
Feel the warmth of your skin just to feel

So I can know you're real

Now what do I do
that I've touched you
And I stand here alone crying as I realize I brought our courtship to an end
As I watch you blowing away as dust in the wind

I guess you where to good to be true

Great piece of writing. Some things are too good to be true. I believe it is better to take risks in life instead of sitting on the bench so to speak. Giving into temptation is sometimes necessary to add spice to life. I loved this poem.

Incredible poem here, emotive and full of thought and heart.

One thing I have learned over many times of trial and error, above all follow your heart and your first impressions if it feels wrong most times it is, if it feels right ...... well hell there it is!

Hugs
Michelle
