I do not need a pipe
to say that I'm addicted
I do not need empty bottles
to need an intervention
I do not need a drug
to know that I have a problem
all I need is a pretty face
and a single act of kindness
and I am hooked
I'm a goner
She'll lead me to an early grave
knowing this till the end
with a blissful ignorant smile on my face.
