Sitting in my room thinking what did I do wrong
Tears falling down my face
Thinking what happened to our love
The love I thought was so strong
I thought you were the one
I thought you loved me like I love you
But I was wrong
I guess we werent meant to last

So I say..
Goodbye good riddens to you
I dont need your loving anymore
I would rather have a guy who truly loves me
Than have your cheapened version
I want the real thing
Oh yeah
Thats what I want

taking my love was crime
when you knew all along it was just a lie
you say you love me
but you never truly meant it
and all along you did mean it
but to some one else

So I say..
Goodbye good riddens to you
I dont need your loving anymore
I would rather have a guy who truly loves me
Than have your cheapened version
I want the real thing
Oh yeah
Thats what I want

my soul may bleed
and my heart may get broken
but I trust one day my life will be complete
so I hope and I pray
for my knight in shining armor
will come to me
weather it be today or tomorrow
he will come one day for

So I say..

Thats what I want

but for now until im over you
ill look at the picture of me and you
and wish we still were but know we are not together
and thats the best thing for now
but maybe one day
it will be our time to shine together
forever
