Perfect Love

Topic: LovePoetry

Perfect Love

If I held your face in my hands and softly kissed your lips
How long would it take for your heart to heat up and your knees to melt?
Would the fire that burns deep within your soul light the night sky as bright as the sun?
Would your desire fade after one encounter or would it take a lifetime of trying to quench your thirst?

Yours is a passion that is once in a lifetime found
To walk away with telling you would lead to a lifelong regret
To be entwined with you be Heaven on Earth
To share our love would be a dream come true

Feeling your lips upon mine makes my heart skip a beat
The touch of your skin awakes my senses
When we make love we are as one
We experience what others are searching for

This poem puts me under a spell; it takes me to the realm of true and indeed perfect love. It captures the moment where intimacy makes those two people the only people on earth. You capture love's magic in a perfect way. I am a romantic and truly love this piece. Sorry for rambling, I am I hyper as I type this. Great poem
