Ten seconds A house full of possibilities Fighting the urge to make a noise Competing over the best spots
Eight seconds Making last changes on where to hide Holding your hand over your mouth to muffle your excitement
Five seconds Trying to hold your breath Closing your eyes Wondering if your picked to best place
Two seconds You can hear others failing at staying calm Squeals from the younger escape their lips Followed by "Shh" from the older kids
Then the dreaded...
"Ready or Not Here I Come"
Then the Moment of truth...Will you be found?

I love this poem. It reminds me of many times I played hide and seek as a child. Great job!
