IT HAS BEEN A LONG
TIME SINCE I HAVE LOOKED MYSELF
IN THE
EYE
I MEAN REALLY
LOOKED
TO STOP SHAVING
TO STOP COMBING
TO STOP GROOMING
STOP
JUST TO LOOK
LOOK INTO MY OWN
EYES
SEE WHAT HAS CHANGED
TO TRY AND FIND THAT
SPARK
GLINT
TWINKLE
ITS THERE
SOMEWHERE
MAYBE IN THE CORNER
OR
UNDER THE EYE LID
WHERE ARE YOU
DAMIT
SHOW YOURSELF
I KEEP LOOKING HARD
EYES
STRAINED
SPRAINED
PAINED
I STOP
I WILL LOOK LATER I TELL MYSELF
WHEN I HAVE MORE TIME
MY VOICE SPEAKS THE TRUTH
BUT MY
EYES
CALL THE LIE
