Wimpy Weapons

You graze me with an indifferent dart; the true target is forgotten art.
You squirt me with a dripping water gun; it is too much effort to simply fill one.
You pierce my heart with a bladeless butter knife; it is as if you have forgotten the passion in life.
You tie me up with a tired piece of twine; it feels like all romance has become sublime.
You drug me with a pathetic placebo; it feels as though you chilled your love's glow.
Wimpy weapons just won't cut it in true love; it's as useful as a fingerless glove.

Great choice of words......I really liked the way this flowed.
Puzzles me why it hasn't received more comments as it deserves more
