I wanted to be someone different
who didn't struggle
a stranger to pain, to aching of a heart
A woman virginal, innocent
One who didn't know wounds, tears
I thought I could be divine
a goddess of purity
Embracing life, emanating love
Someone to be proud of
The one who saved the world
At times I lose myself
I want to die, to leave my world behind
To go places you can't hurt me
To be all I wanted to be
I have no choice but to be me
I have already chosen.
