Tell me about it! All summer long, it's been the game of keeping son and step-daughter apart. We were lucky to find a parks and recreation program for the girl, but that only comprised so many hours of the day. The boy, too, was occupied--in his case, an Extended School Year program for autistic children, also comprised of only too few hours. If one or the other could be kept busy, all was well. When that didn't happen, the fireworks began forthrightly.

So you may believe me when I say: I do quite feel your pain! Best of luck always, -K-

LOL, I did not have babes of my own but I raised a group, I was also very young so I do relate and remember those all day fights. Until I would get mad and give them something to do that would involve all their energy and make them to tired to fight for awhile LOL....... Yes drill master Michelle, it worked though ROFLMAO. I feel you! This is short but very powerful!

Hugs
Michelle

I am here with three (boys) always out-numbered & often out-smarted. It's not the confict that worries me, it's the teamwork.
(& the dis-assembling that goes on!) Great write. elle

Good little haiku. Reminds me of one of my favourite comedy shows on the BBC called 'outnumbered' about mischievous kids and parents who don't know what to do. Bang it into youtube if you get the chance, kids fighting can actually be funny!
