all my friends are musicians i've never met
all my lovers are the songs i've always sang.
no, they've never failed me once
music carries me through when
you could never come close to saving me.
scratched mattresses
love letters left
scattered on bedroom floors
when darkness rises
it will be with me there on the sidewalk
voices echo in my head and throughout
the side bend trails of my heart
sing with me another psychotic love song
but thats more than to praise a "stalker"
it's all alright i prefer your singing to me over the silence
don't dare deprive me
this feeling is like a drug to me
its true for any lyric addict.
dopamine, my sweet dopamine
of riff, word and note
i speak through it
i live, breathe and eat through it
the voices ill never forget and then
they seem to become my own
my inspiration to live any day
the healing of any moment
music carries me
