I once appreciated love poetry, Now I require things to be more subtle than that, Of course, There's a part of me that's convinced all poetry is about love, Who really knows? Do I know what I write about?
"I think poetry is about a spontaneous lack of conscious processes." I internally verbalize in the poetry section of a bookstore.

All things are about love, in the broadest sense of the word (or lack thereof, still inclusive.)
Such thought provocation, kindling tonight. . . Thanks for sharing. :) elle |

A major-league cynic would say that all poetry is about the love of ourselves and our desire just to be heard and appreciated. We live in a world that seems to frown upon poetry as some kind of pretentious enclave of culture. So I guess, what other choice do we have?
