I hear him
Creeping, slowly but surely
Down the hall
And here I write this message
The last message of all
For tomorrow shall be another day
For those of you who dwell
On the happier things in life
Knowing that it will all be well
But for those and I who wish to sit
Calmly numbing over our last fret
Tomorrow shall be another day
Untill our broken hearts pass away
And the dark one who seeks us
The killer of the night
Realizes that we can do so much more
So much more than write
