Voiceless

The human voice is on the brink of extinction; each second a victim becomes voiceless. Melodious sounds are lost in texting's season; Mere convenience is the human choice.
Don Juan used to serenade his vixens with his song; now, he types abbreviations to show his dedication. Talking is out of style and simply takes way too long. Chatting voices are replaced with key touches of concentration.
Artificial silence slowly creeps down our souls, leaving behind scarred serenity. Humans need to speak with a voice and take control; Without voices, humans lose their identity.

That is indeed an interesting and very true topic. Though I do find it somewhat ironic that the threat of a voiceless age is expressed through written word.
Nonetheless, I enjoyed it.
