I wonder each and every day,
I wonder if Gods plan I will see
And I will have someone to call my own
Someone who will love me for me
I thought once to myself
I can do without,
Without the love another
Without the companionship
Without the kisses and the soft touch
Without the encouragement
Without the pillow talk
Without the support
Without the laughter
I thought I was sure,
Sure that without these things
it would be easy to live
I'm so certain now
That I have so much to give
I have Love left to give
And happiness to bring
But does this happiness
Have to come with a ring
I feel so stuck in these emotions
Of wanting someone in my life
But Im sure life's so much more
Than me becoming a wife
I know there are still things I must learn
Before I can be at that point again
I need to learn how to be with myself
And from square one I must begin
I know from my past there is so
much I have to learn
There is process I must go through,
Though inside I still yearn
I will have to hold on to my faith
No matter how hard it may be
I have to believe that sooner or later
God will send whom he has for me.

Great poem.
Love the flow and specially the lines that read "if happiness has to come with a ring..."
i dont think it does. We all wonder what our future holds and hope its something that we truly wanted.
