how hard do i have to try
until life takes a turn?
will good luck every come,
or will i always crash and burn?
all my life i've tried to do
whatever's right and fair
in hope i'd end up happy,
but life never took me there.
no one really cares for me,
all they do is take.
no one sees the strain i'm in,
or when i'm about to break.
but i guess i shouldn't be surprised
remembering my past;
so here applies the term
"good guys always finish last".
