Peppy, smiles, bright eyes
She laughs, she jokes
You laugh, too
She lights the world
With her love of life

Apathetic, tears, quivering lip
She mourns, she dies
You laugh, too
She hides from the world
With her fear of life

She floats by you
With a smile and a wave
She draws you in
You twirl and spin together
In her whirlwind world
She rushes off
To her next great adventure

She drifts by you
With a whimper and a jerk
She lets you near
You twirl and spin together
In her dreary, grey world
She rushes off
To her next great deception

She's that girl you see

That girl you never see
