blunt

Contributed by liamleash on Monday, 24th August 2009 @ 07:42:45 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Love is nothing more then unplanned stutters
Unwispered plans
And breaths taken away without permission
Snowy winters
And holding each other in the cold
Those priceless moments
Easily copied
With another.
Love is faux
And nostaligic traditions are dead

Wow, how many times have I awakened with this cynical attitude?
Too many to count, I'm afraid. This was such a profound write in so few words.

My "two cents" is just this- those priceless moments may be easily copied with another,
but the feelings, the emotions, the sentiments are not. With the right person, you could
be taking out the garbage or cleaning out the garage and it would be a "priceless moment".
(But don't try to convince me of that) :p

Wonderfully provocative post.
