Take a moment my child, and ponder,
Remember those dark discoveries of your life.
Actions committed and spiteful words uttered,
Behind your back, voices hushed.
By those you hated,
And those you held closest.
That belittled you, demeaned you,
Betrayed you.
Now take a moment my child, and ponder,
Imagine the times you didn't find out.
