The Beaver and His Dam

The beaver
Cuts down trees
With its two sharp teeth
With great ease

He places the log
On top of his dam
He go gets more
The same way he swam

In his dam
Lies sticks, plants and mud
All packed together
To stop the flood

More beavers come by
To help him chop
For the flood
That they must stop
