Sweet Serenade

I pour the rum
And raise my glass
Then nod
To the reflection
In the mirror
With no other ears
But mine to hear
I offer up
Sweet serenade
Such verse
Floods the room
Such voice
Soars high
And rumbles deep
I wipe the waters
From my eye
As the reflection
Does the same
This song
My own to keep
