Someone beat him to death
for his car.
Left him cold-n-alone
out there.
No remorse for their
evil deed.
Oh God, my troubled
heart bleeds.
Jesus, oh my Jesus, sweet Jesus
in these troubled times----
your lite will shine.
A sacrificial lamb
went to heaven
your lite to shine
in these troubled times.
Folks are snapping
tottally out of control.
No thought of sorrow
or their troubled soul.
Insanity is running wild.
We're all your child,
Oh god!
They killed him for
a material thing.
Now tell me
Was that sane?
How can one be so
evil-n-cold
no thought for life
nor their soul.

| I agree with the previous comment. This would make a very good rock n' roll ballad. I also loved your message of how we are all God's children etc. It really makes the reader reflect on themselves and what is important. Good job here! Take care. =) |
