Human is such a weird word its not quite right
You wouldnt know we were human just by sight
We should have to wear a sign or carry a note
That would hang from our necks or be pinned to a coat
Who ever came up with this word must have been mad
Its silly and boring, well its just plain bad
It should be something exciting, something unique
Maybe something stylish maybe something silique
Its a new age and it calls for a new name
Unlike the human race the word human is to tame
The new word needs to capture us in one word
That associates us with something like flying to a bird
But can all mankind be summed up in associations
When humans are so different from different nations
We are a complicated bunch of beings thats for sure
We are less likely to make peace than to make war

Well Capian I certainly enjoyed your poem.
You seem very witty and I loved the harmony in your rhyming.
