There was something in the smile
There was something in her eye
Something that drew me nearer
But I do not know why

The book she read was boring
Her coffee tasted bad
But there was something in her
That really drove me mad

But only upon talking
Did I find out why
The reason I was drawn to her
She had wonder in her eye
