I'm powerless
To stop any of this
What do I do
To stop what's happening to you
I'm useless
I sealed the promise with a kiss
But now what do I do
To save you
I've made a promise I can't keep
I sit here and weep
What can I do
I'm so confused
I promised I be there
You must think I don't care
But I'm powerless
I can't stop this
I'm weak
I'm not the knight in shining armor you seek
I don't have the power
To be there for you in your final hour
I've made a promise I can't keep
All because I'm to weak
I need the power to do this
When I try to save you
I'll draw that power from a kiss
I still don't know what I'm going to do
But I'm going to try and save you
Powerless as I may be
A promise is a promise
I told you that you could trust me
I won't let those be empty words
