I need to talk to you
Though to your face, I never know exactly what to say
Something about you made me feel different today
It just wasnt the same, I felt out of place
Something in my body no longer craved for a taste
A taste of your sensitivity, something I never felt before
Locking myself away and barricading the door
Leading you up the stairs but leaving you knocking
Something in my heart is now constantly blocking
Blocking you out of my reach
To "open up" is something you cannot teach
Teach to someone who wishes to stay in
Stay where they wont get hurt or could even possibly feel
The interest I once had for you was truthfully real
And my intentions were NEVER wrong
But now this incapability of willingness
Is causing me to think twice
To be in a steady relationship with you could be nice
But could also lead to worthless pain
If I hurt you I dont think I could sustain
So I am sorry, friends is how we should stay
Because right now US is something I am unable to say
