I Don't Know...

Contributed by my_forbidden_heart on Tuesday, 8th September 2009 @ 06:17:50 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

My hands are trembling right now... it hurts...
My heart overflowing with tears... it bursts...
My soul feeling so cold and weak... it cries...
My mind trying to console me... it lies...

How can I live and breathe for another day
Now that you're gone...
How can I keep my heart from hurting
Knowing you'll never come back...
I just wanted to make you feel how much love you
I just wanted to take care of you...
I just wanted to be there for you...

I am so lost right now, it hurts so much...
I love you...
I really, really do...

Hi there,

I remember many many moons ago when I was
17, I lost the love of my life to emigration - she
went to australia - did she have to go that far?
One of my 'friends' at the time said 'You'll get
over it, there are plenty more fish in the sea!'
What a cold, cold, cold, retort - no understanding,
no warmth, no hope. (see my poem 'so many many
seasons).

Since then I was married to a beautiful and
kind (well, she was fairly kind) woman who
gave me 2 fine sons. Unfortunately, we're
now divorced.

What I'm trying to say amidst all this jabbering
is that you will probably never forget - that
sense of lost love will always be there - but
you learn to live with it - you face life head on
and you meet others and learn to love again.

Good luck.
Tommy
