Questions

Why do you push me away
when I need you the most
How can you say you
will always be there
And yet I feel the door close

In my life I needed a friend
Someone who understands
And yet I feel so lonely
And cry to no end

I feel everything is falling apart
And everyone is just turning
their back on me
I ask myself why and wonder did
Anyone ever really care
How could this be

Oh the pain in my heart
The sorrow that I feel
The questions I ask
Its become so real

Who do I turn to,
Where do I run
Lord what are you trying
to show me
Tell me what has begun

This process is grueling
And more than I can take
I'm feeling this is something
I dont want on my plate

For this one, there is no happy
Ending
For this one, I have no light
at the end
For I'm not sure what to do
Or who I can call friend

Alone he wants me I guess and
Im sure there is something Ill
learn
But until then I will stay
With all these questions that Burn.

There's always a happy ending, it's just not always obvious.

This is something I've been trying to tell myself.

It's hard doubting everyone around you, even harder when they break promises and hearts so easily and without thought. You're not alone in that.

Take care. I like this poem better than the most recent one I read, it doesn't seem so forced.

Take care,
Phil xxx
