I see them couples holding hands,
Staring into each others eyes,
Kissing under the shining sun,
I smile and say how I think its cute
But deep inside I know that smiles fake
Dont get me wrong
Im happy for them
Just sometimes I wish I had a special someone
To hold my hand
And to give me that stare
I see more and more couples everywhere
I hold back the tears that would probably fall
If it wasnt for the fact Im happy for them all
I just cant help that fake smile on my face
Its not that Im jealous of the people there with
I just get so lonely every now and then
I wish I had that special someone
To hold my hand
And to give me that stare
