I have words wishing to escape
words wanting to write a song
the lyrics to the piano soundtrack of my mind
but I choke the words
unwilling to allow for the pain they might release
knowing that the bitterness i expose
will bring this mirror crashing down upon my head
halting the soothing piano
leaving the words to multiply
leaving no escape
a fate not to drown in tears
but to drown in unwoven lyrics
unable to place them
for the memory of their soundtrack fades fast
i dare not risk the music of my mind for mere words
leave that battle for another day
the day when words toople song

Interesting. Some edges need a bit of sharpening, but the actual content is very good.
