YOU'RE MY DESTINY

I have often had the feeling
someone's watching over me,
someone who controls my fate
my date with destiny.
It is more than just a feeling
i know it in my heart,
i know He's always there for me
His love will never part.
I sing your praises daily Lord
for taking care of me,
and everything that i possess
my thanks i give to Thee.
It's great to know He's always there
He calms my troubled soul,
He helps me through my toughest hours
and makes my life seem whole.
I don't know where i'd be today
without His guiding light,
to help me through my longest days
and through my darkest nights.
I sing your praises daily Lord
for what you did for me,
you gave your own son Jesus Christ
who died to set me free.
I can't quite put my finger on
what He wants, nor why,
i only know i feel secure
to have Him standing by.
He makes no demands nor promises
nor tells me what to do,
He's just there to lend a guiding hand
to help me each day through.
I sing your praises daily Lord
for watching over me,
i've come to know you are my fate
you ARE my destiny.
