The Planets favour is mine. I caress the past gently With confident, loving lips And watch it settle peacefully Into a reverend orbit around The matrix of this faithful son.
For now I walk upon A landscape of lions; Whose children wonder freely Among their tears and their joy; Where the pain of childhood is soothed By the balm of knowledge.
I rested beneath an old oak tree And in a dream an angel Appeared in silence; Her smile was her gift, In whose understanding roars The laughter of love.

OMG, this is G O R G E O U S !!
and that second verse. Oh my, something has me so enamoured with it.
It has this innocence about it. Floating almost freely and is so wonderfully
enrapturing. Damn, this whole piece is just exquisite. And quite clever too. :)
Welcome to YPDC. ^_^
