There is a dark serpent in my stomach It steels my food; My waking moments; Haunts my dreams; Hides my memories; It hisses in my conscience And lays waste my childhood.
I am but a shadow in a dark prison. I was once a son, An innocent open vessel Possessed only by my own creation And the inevitable assassination Of wasted breath.

Very dark, but well crafted.
Keep the faith!
