The Strong Song

Contributed by KathyT on Friday, 18th September 2009 @ 11:08:39 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

She wake's every morning to the same thing....pain.
The birds are singing, the sun is shining, but with
her getting out of bed is the same everyday.
Her body consumed by disorder.

She asks GOD,why?
No reply.Just stay strong she tells herself.
It will not rob me of my joy for life,
no words are said,no one to hear.

Happy just to be here.
How simple to brush your teeth,
not for her.
She has to hold her right arm up with her left arm
just to brush.

So much fun..to be undone.
To brush her long thick hair, who cares.
To much pain nothing to gain.

The birds are still singing, the flowers are blooming
the smell of the sweet rain.
Doesn't take away her pain.
Nothing
Everyday life is getting her down,
to sweep, mop, dust it's just to much.

Passion,none in her life
why would she ask anyone to join in on her fun?
She will not be a burden to anyone, ever.
So i guess love is out of the question.

The odds are against her,she will be alone forever.
What can she do?Wake up.
Another day with a smile on her face.
She's still here with joy in her life and an
unwavering will to live in this small place
in this vast universe.

Her time is not up,she's strong
and this is her song.

A wonderful portrayal of defiance and refusal to give in.
A true example for us all to follow.
Bravo !!!

KathyT!! You are one feisty woman! I like your
style - it's classy and defiant! Go for it girl!
I'm rooting for you!
