It apears the same. The adress hasnt changed. But you act as though you sruggle to recall my name.
Down here isolation offers only time to think. The confession seems to flow eaiser with every drink.
Back in the city the night breaths life into the street. pollution and chaos oh how I yern For that familar cement underneath my feet.
To hold that which I held so very dear. What was cast aside in a moment of enless regret and fear. face to face heads sharing a pillow in the dark. Words that echo in my ever changing heart.
Alone it was you I could not lose to the emptyness I confess. Life has taken it's toll. The illusion has failed to reveal the mess.
We found a life that wasnt real. Clinging onto arms of barbwire. While in the depths of agony trying to conceal.
The fool who died seemed bitter never witty. Seems he left his past along with his heart. back in the city.

Couple of spelling mistakes at the start there. But I'm no teacher. And this is great, which is what counts. I think most people can relate to missing places you once lived and loved in.
I miss my City, now I'm stuck back in my rubbish little town.
Anyway, my point is, I like this, good work. |
