Footsteps drowned out by the rain Wanting to scream but must refrain Step after step but making no sound Creeping softly while her heart does pound Blotting out the light and dashing out the sun Following the voices leading her run Into the Great hall of The First To find it broken and burnt, hideously cursed Before her the throne of the Four Great Ones Of the Five Shekhinas; the elementary Sons Mind, Understanding, Intelligence, thought and Reason All deceived and betrayed by the Nephilim treason Descendents of Anarchy flew into the hall Fallen Angels of Mount Hermon two hundred in all.
Voices still linger in the chamber so cold Coming from the statues of Kings, in a time valiant and bold They take our women they take our wives winged like angels but bearing sickles and knives The still air transports their ghostly sound Echoing quietly off the walls and gently off the ground no hope for man when the Watchers stand by cries falling on deaf ears as we fall and die Out of her pocket she pulls a bronze candle Stepping over a fallen flag she lights it on a mantle The flame flickers and sparks in the cold nights air Illuminating the courts motto which reads Just and Fair The light grows and reaches the Throne The girl turns realising shes not alone.
Shadowed by a tall thin women dressed in Pure White A sword in her left hand and shield in her right Name your self and state your aim or your fate like your brothers will be much the same The girl looked fierce with contempt at her site They were not my brothers, I am Laila the Mother of Light Mother to the Five Elementary sons delivered into death the five guardians to the blood line of Seth. The woman in White lowered her shield and bowed her head I am Shamsiel, Watcher over Eden and the sacred dead Blessed Mother of Light my heart breaks for you I am your servant with what you command I shall do" My remaining Son the Crown Prince of Light bring to me Capian so he may claim his right

I'll own up to my ignorance and say i have absolutely no idea what most of this is about....but i positively loved the way it rhymed and flowed.
Really well done and i look forward to reading more of your works.

I think this is the best I have read of your work so far because it combines well the story with the poetic style and rhythm. Had a very dark yet hopeful touch to it. A bit of melancholy as well. My favourtie lines were these:
"The still air transports their ghostly sound
Echoing quietly off the walls and gently off the ground"
Brilliantly described. |
