Down at the bottom
Nothing feels the same

The things you say
They just make you estranged

From me
The real estranged

A million miles that
I paint for you
The best I can

The best you can do
To understand

The best we can muster
All things that fluster
Misunderstanding
Becoming the norm

Being normal with you
We meet halfway
I feel exhausted
You go away

I feel better now
I can't say why
If I could just show you
My mind's eye

But I can't.
