So
nice we're still together
in the sunset of our years,
so many moments weathered
'midst the laughter and the
tears.
Love's
been more than good to me
it's been a dream come true,
you and i fit perfectly
like we were meant to
do.
So
nice that after all this time
like poetry our hearts still
rhyme,
in every verse that we construe
again i fall in love with
you.
So
young we were
but took that chance
on what we never knew,
yet so easy was the dance
we never missed a
cue.
So
nice we're still together
such closeness you can bring,
with you i feel like summer does
when e'er it see's
the
spring.

sweet rhymes and they seem so spontaneous, so fluid, so straight from the heart !

Beautiful words Ben. You've got so much to be proud of in lasting so long
in the age of disposable marriages. I know it wasn't always easy, or
filled with sunshine and roses, but you did it. And you are still very
much in love. ^_^ Gives me hope and restores my faith in love,
every time I experience one of your writes. Beautifully done, my friend.
