Good night and good morning

She was the sun
Her orange feathered wings shined on the lake
as in saying "hello" or "good night"
In response the lake twinkled
and the roses swirled in the wind
The trees swayed
and the grass danced in the summer breeze
I smiled down on the little green spikes
"you to" i whispered gently
and without another word
or movement
The sun fell
and night was upon
